Plate 3. Plate 4.1. Different types of melt inclusions observed in the apatites of Sevattur carbonatites. (A) A polyphase inclusion containing one silicate and opaque phase with the melt (B) A monophase melt inclusion (C) A biphase melt inclusion containing a small solid phase inside (D) A crystalline inclusions having a metallic phase trapped inside. Notice that the metallic phase is partly inside and partly outside the inclusion Chalcopyrite Opaques in MI of Calcites in Apatite Host Plate 4. The behavior of different inclusions in apatite at 950 Degrees C. Notice the two types of calcite inclusions; the honey-yellow color inclusions represent the calcitic melt inclusions which are started melting, and the clear ones may indicate crystalline-calcite solid inclusions.
