Composition of crust, mantle and core; plate tectonics; tectonic setting; deformation pattern and magma association, Precambrian tectonics. Phanerozoic plate tectonics. Evolution of the Himalayas and Indian Ocean. Evolution of Indian subcontinent, Ur to Rodinia to Gondwanaland.
