A fun event for celebrating exploration Geosciences
Greetings from EAGE Student Chapter, IIT Bombay. We hope everyone is doing fine.
We are very much excited to host our next event called “EXPLORATI- A fun event for celebrating exploration geosciences”. We encourage all students (M.Sc./ M.Tech./Ph.D.) of the department to participate in the fun challenges ahead. Explorati comprises the following events:
A case study competition designed for increasing the knowledge in the broad field of Geoscience as applicable to the Oil and gas industry. It challenges multidisciplinary teams to take a shot at appraising a subsurface resource thereby working with a real dataset. Teams are requested to register their team as the captain with a maximum of 3 members per team, names of whom should be duly filled in the registration form. Has your team got what it takes? Take a shot at this brand-new challenge to explore!

A treasure hunt game with geoscientific clues to add to the adventure. Teams are challenged with clues to reach the final destination–COMING SOON!!!
REWARDS 🏆
PETROHUNT: The winner will receive Rs 3000/-, a champion trophy along with sponsored EAGE student membership. All the finalists will be featured in our EAGE newsletter.
TREASURE TROVE: The winner will receive Rs 2000/-, a champion trophy. The winner will be featured on our EAGE publicity pages.
All of our events will be featured on our YouTube channel and other social media handles. We urge active participation from all the students to make this event a success.
We will send a separate email to the registered participants and also to others for our upcoming events. The Teams for Petrohunt are requested to register their teams early to receive the dataset early so that they get more time to prepare the report.
