Sarkar, Former Professor (HAG) and Former Emeritus Fellow in the Department of Applied Geology at IIT(ISM) Dhanbad, and currently, Professor in the Department of Earth Sciences at IIT Bombay, is a Geostatistician possessing over 45 and half years of professional experience with a strong blend of industry and academics.
