Distinguished Lecture Series Lectures on “Hydrothermal Ore-Forming Processes” by Prof. Hubert L. Barnes, Pennysylvannia State University was organized in the Department of Earth Sciences. This included 14 lectures on the topic spread over a period of 3 weeks from 2nd Nov to 23rd Nov. 1996. Research Scholars working on problems in Economic Geology/Ore Petrology had ample opportunity to discuss their problems with Prof. Barnes.
